This "SHORE" was fun!

We went to Lake Powell for a few days at the end of July with my family, that is everyone except Chad and Jane (who is around 7 months pregnant) so we had quite the crew. We parked the house boat in Halls Creek in a spot that had an area where the kids could play on the shore and it was open enough we didn’t have to go too far to have some fun in the boat. I wasn't quite sure about going with my 3 boys, but they all had a great time. Marshall loved swimming, fishing, knee boarding, going off the slide on the houseboat, but his favorite thing was riding the tube. Patrick enjoyed fishing, playing in the water (only if he could touch) and his favorite thing was throwing rocks into the lake. Nathan slept the best he has ever slept (even with the wind and little bit of rain), he liked the water as long as he was being held by one of his parents, he played with the toys that Aunt Nesha had brought for her kids, and he was not very nice to his cousin Gradee (who is 6 months old), he took everything from him and pushed him over in the little swimming pool that they played in, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be having him there. We were a little bit lazy on this trip I knee boarded and road on the tube and Mike road on the tube and played in the water with the kids a lot, we also did some reading and rocked out once they got the iPods working over the houseboat speakers. Needless to say it was a blast! We had a really good time and can't wait for next year’s trip. Thanks Mom and Dad for all the fun that we have had in Lake Powell over the years!!
