Nathan’s 1st Birthday

I can’t believe it has already been a year, it seems like I was just in the hospital having Nathan. He is growing like a weed, starting to walk, and his vocabulary consists of the words: look, uh oh, thank you and he surprises us every time he copies something we say. He already has 6 teeth (which his brother only had one or two by the time they were 1) and he’s so adorable, with a very big contagious smile.
We had Nathan’s Birthday party at his Grandma and Grandpa Barnes' house. They were kind enough to let us have it in their back yard (which is very nice). The guest list include his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, cousin and Jarod (Nathan’s friend from the Army and now our friend). We ate dinner, sat around and visited, had cake and ice cream and Nathan opened his presents. We had a great time and Nathan had a one-derful birthday. Nathan we love you very much Happy Birthday!!

The one day a year I get to be the center of attention!

Cake is for eating! Nathan didn't want to eat his cake, so we then decided to give him a cupcake and he just threw it on the ground.

It's all about the presents
