Today my Dad turned 60 years old. So we planned a Surprise Birthday BBQ in his honor (and it actually stayed a surprise, because we didn't let the grandkids in on it). We had it at Highland Heritage Park and a good time was had by all. We put out pictures of my dad over the years and it was fun to hear the stories behind the pictures. Not only is it his birthday, but he also retired from the National Guard this month. Happy birthday Dad! We love you and are proud of your service to our country.
