So in December I took Marshall to the dentist for the first time (yes, I should have taken him a couple of years ago), and the news was not good 8 cavities. I decided to take him to a Pediatric Dentist to have the work done. We went last Monday to Smith Pediatric Dentistry, so he could be sedated and the dentist could fix all the teeth in one day (a little more expensive since you have to pay for sedation but definitely worth it). So now he has a mouth full of metal and his two bottom front teeth missing (they were loose so the dentist asked if I want him to just pull them). From now on I am going to take the boys to the dentist at least once a year (I know it’s ever 6 months) and hopefully we won’t run into this issue again. PS. Patrick went in December as well and has no cavities Yeah!

xpughWe use Smith Ped Dentistry too. Kiley and Cayson LOVE it there!
Addy is going in on the 11th this month for pretty much the same thing! Aaahhg! I HATE the dentist. I have been taking my kids forever...but missed an appt (at the 6 month) and she is the LUCKY one. LOL! All the other kids have nothing....well except Kenzie who has a very small one he can fix w/out a shot..YEAH! Life for me is SO busy to remember to schedule EVERY six months....we should remind each other!
Wow, poor guy. Averee and I are going to the dentist today. I hope and pray for some good news. I haven't been since last spring. And it seems I get a cavity after every baby. I hope Averee doesn't need much. Bad teeth come with a cleft lip, so I'm not counting on perfect news, but some good news would be nice.
So worth spending the extra $$$ to put them out! I had the same problem with Ashlynn about a year ago. Oh I have learned my lesson. I take them every six months now. I guess Marshall and Ashlynn can be twinners with their mouth of silver!!!
he looks so cute with those missing teeth!
That's crazy. What a tough little guy.
I haven't attempted to take my kids yet. He looks so cute with all his 'holes'.
That's too bad! I took Alex to the dentist not too long ago and the news wasn't good either. He has really soft enamel on his teeth and he might even need a root canal!!!
That teeth stuff is the worst! Vance had to be sedated (at the same dentist, by the way) last August and have 5 cavities taken care of. I just took him again for a cleaning and luckily no more cavities!!!!! Saves us a few hundreds bucks, right????
