The day after thanksgiving Mike got the Christmas lights up on the house even though it was so cold out there, I put the nativity up on the shelf in the kitchen, other decorations around the house and we all decorated the tree in our front room. It is very hard for me to let the boys help because for some reason I think the tree has to look perfect and after thinking about it I realized that Patrick is just going to undecorated it in no time so it took all of about 10 minutes to put it up. I also decided that since it is Christmas time that I would put a play list together of just Christmas music. It was a long and tiring day but, I enjoyed it very much.

I love the ribbon on your tree!
I always want to have a perfect looking tree. And sometimes (I must confess) I have a hard time putting the ornaments my kids make at school on the tree. But then I try to remember that Christmas is for kids. Right? Not crazy moms. And so I repent. And love my tree anyway.
