Mike and I were married April 28, 2001, at Mellor Hidden Meadows in Lehi
Utah, three years after we started dating. Just about two years after we had been married we found out we were going to have our first baby, we were so excited when we found out it was going to be a boy. Mike wanted to name him Tiberius there was no way I was going to name my little boy after one of Mike’s dogs. So one day we were watching Mike’s favorite football team the St. Louis Rams play and on the Rams was a running ba
ck named Marshall Faulk, we both agreed that Marshall was a great name. Marshall J was born on September 24, 2003 weighing 5 pounds 11 ounces and 21 inches long and had lots of dark brown hair. Then a few years later, it was time for another baby and on New Year’s Day 2006 we found out we were going to have our second boy. After once again having to convince Mike that we weren’t going to name him Tiberius we came up with the name Patrick Ernest. He was born on June 20, 2006 one week over due. He weighed 8 pounds 11 ounce
s and was 19 inches long and didn’t have much hair (so very different from Marshall). On September 16, 2006 Mike and I took our family to the Manti Temple to be sealed as a family for time and all eternity. This was the most amazing day! It was so wonderful to see our boys in the sealing room and to know that we were going to be together forever. Later looking back at the pictures from that day I had to laugh at how cute Marshall looked in his little white jumper. He looked like a little Elvis Presley.
So then in 2007 we decided once again it was time to try for another baby and once again it was another boy and it was a little bittersweet because, I would have like a little girl. This time there was no discussion of the name Tiberius, we knew that we were going to name him after Mike’s brother who had been killed in action on July 17, 2007 in Iraq. Nathan Michael was just born on August 20, 2008. He weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and 19 inches long with lots of dark hair (like Marshall).
We are so blessed to have three healthy sweet boys who we love very much.

One is roots. The other is wings.

Sorry this post is so long but I thought if I was going to do a blog it was also going to be a family journal, so I wanted to start at the beginning of our life together and now it’s pretty much caught up. Hopefully, I will be able to keep it up to date, full of fun, interesting, good and I’m sure sometimes an occasional bad post(not only bad memories but bad writing because I am not much of writer).

Tiberius, huh?
I'm glad he was willing to negotiate. I loved reading about your family! Such darling babies.
And you were a beautiful bride!
I remember you talking about the 'Tiberius Discussions'!
BTW, Nathan and I share a birthday - he's my favorite already!
You have such a cute family - your boys are all adorable!!!
